#17 Take a class that sparks your interest
Enjoy what you're learning.
We are forced to take so many classes here that we just don't want to take. Sign yourself up for a class that you would find interesting. At least you would have one class you'd definitely enjoy going to.
#16 Go to the SGA Movies
IT IS FREE!!
As a college student there is nothing better than the word free. SGA plays newly released movies in the student center every weekend for free. Technically, you're paying for it through tuition so take advantage of it. They are usually always great movies too.
#15 Go on a real spring break
We go to school in a very boring town, and most of us probably don't go home to a beach side house. So save some money up for a few years and take a nice spring break trip with your friends. Florida, California, the Carolina's it doesn't matter. Go somewhere warm and go somewhere fun!
#14 Get a pet
I know that this isn't possible for everyone, but if you are able to get a pet GET ONE.
Getting my kitten was the best decision I made. I was always a dog person growing up, but a dog is a lot harder to take care of than a cat when you're in college. People argue that they are just expensive and they smell, but having a pet is worth it. Plus, they aren't that expensive and they only stink if you don't clean them.
At the end of a long day, a pet is always there to cuddle and make it better!
#13 Climb the water tower
You would have to get over a barbed wire fence first, but if you can do that climb the water tower. Things that are forbidden are always more fun and it would be a great story to tell later. If you decide to do this, please be safe and don't blame me if you get in trouble!
#12 Go to a sporting event
Whether it's a football, basketball, baseball, soccer, rugby, whatever, go support our school!
School spirit is huge here! Nobody wants to be apart of a school that has no school spirit. Plus, games are so much fun to go to! Some of my best college memories involve tailgating and football games with my friends.
You don't even have to like sports to have fun, I promise. Just go with your friends and you'll have a great time!
Be proud to call yourself a Slippery Rock Student, support your teams!
